Highlights of Sydney Fringe Festival 2025 included:
Playing inside Woollahra Library for the opening show (what a wonderful venue!)
Sharing the stage to collaborate with internationally and nationally acclaimed instrumentalists like Elsen Price (double bass), Ganathipan Aruneswaran (guitar) and Melanie Walters (flute), and collaborating with artists like Abhinav, Bella, Lakshmi, Mahal, Paul Li, Sandhya & TJ Â at Erskineville Town Hall.
Showcasing original music by Bineal (Olden Eyes), Daphne (Bus), Ganathipan (Mahatma) and Reesha (Library)
Playing an original composition by acclaimed composer Zela Margossian alongside other amazing artists like Alex (drums), Linda (flute) and Suzanne (piano). This was the first time I've ever played a score notated in Western sheet music, and written specifically for the sitar! It was definitely a challenge, and I'm so happy that the composer has given me her permission to continue to play it, so you'll hear more of it over time as I continue to practice it.
