"I've enjoyed watching Ravi play at music gigs all over NSW. I particularly enjoy his classical Indian and soft-pop instrumental covers. Some highlights include his sell-out show for the Sydney Fringe Festival at Riverside Theatre and the Cowra Festival of International Understanding. He's got an impressive understanding of Classical Indian music, having started learning tabla as a child. Great to see his contributions to keeping Indian Classical Music alive in Sydney!"

"I thought the show was great - congratulations on selling out! I love watching sitar performances and Indian classical instruments but I've never had the experience of being in such an intimate venue and being so close to the performers. I really liked how you weaved your personal stories and family history into the set, and especially considering most people in the audience probably hadn't seen a sitar performance before, it was a really approachable and comfortable environment. It was a unique and innovative performance with the pop covers, and of course it's so amazing to see a Sydney-based sitar performer!"

"I have been following Ravi's page since the beginning of his journey (sitarbyravi). He has a very approachable and amicable style of teaching. I have attended some of his local events and thoroughly enjoy his creativity and personal touch he brings to his play style. I definitely recommend him as a sitar teacher, grown up in Australia, he understands the challenges and teaching styles that suite best to young people, beginners and intermediates."

"Ravi was so kind and helpful. Breaking down the steps for the song in a really absorbing way. 5 stars Xo"

"Ravi is an exceptional sitar teacher—his passion for the instrument is contagious, and his teaching style is clear, patient, and deeply engaging. He breaks down complex techniques in a way that’s easy to grasp, while also sharing the rich cultural and musical context behind the ragas. Each class feels inspiring and thoughtfully structured, and I’ve seen real progress in my playing thanks to his guidance. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, learning from Ravi is a truly rewarding experience."
